The root and aerial part of Nagarmotha was extracted in different solvents such as hexane, aqueous, and ethanol and evaluated for antimicrobial activity at different concentrations against 6 gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus epidermidis, Bacillus subtilis, Yersinia enterocolitica, Salmonella typhimurium, Enterobacter aerogenes ), 1 gram-negative (E.Coli ) bacterial strains and 3 fungal strains (Candida albicans, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus flavus ). Amikacin and fluconazole (100 μg/ml) were taken as standard drugs.

Result and Discussion: The % yield of oil was 0.84 % (v/w) by both methods. The Isolated compound was characterized by various spectroscopic techniques such as GC, GC-MS, and 1H NMR and established as (-)-ISOLONGIFOLEN-9-ONE. Root and aerial extract in different solvents showed mild antimicrobial activity at 100 μg/ml. Pure oil (NM Oil) showed mild to moderate antibacterial activity at 100 μg/ml against gram-positive bacteria but it was not shown any activity against gram-negative bacteria. Pure oil was also shown very good activity against fungal strains such as Candida albicans and Aspergillus flavus when compared with the standard drug Fluconazole.

Conclusion: The present study showed that the pure oil obtained from the Cyperus scariosus has the potential to diminish microbial growth and can be effective in the treatment of microbial diseases.
2022-09-01T00:00:00+01:00Copyright (c) 2022 Innovat International Journal Of Medical & Pharmaceutical Scienceshttps://www.innovatpublisher.com/index.php/iijmps/article/view/202GLIOBLASTOMA. ASPECTS OF PATHOGENESIS AND THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES2022-09-13T11:52:27+01:00BON L.I.asphodela@list.ruLYCHKOVSKAYA M.A.asphodela@list.ru
Glioblastoma is considered one of the most aggressive malignant brain tumors, which has an extremely unfavorable prognosis and low patient survival. The low sensitivity to standard multimodal therapy is explained by the heterogeneity of the tumor cell pool and the presence of glioblastoma stem-like cells in the tumor. In recent years, much attention has been paid to the identification and study of molecular genetic disorders of glioblastoma. The most significant of them are the IDH1 gene mutation and the MGMT methylation status. Currently, the gold standard of treatment is the use of neuronavigation and intraoperative tumor fluorescence in surgery, these methods allow the most accurate and complete removal of the tumor. In this article, we will consider the pathogenesis, experimental technologies and modern methods of treating this disease.
2022-09-01T00:00:00+01:00Copyright (c) 2022 Innovat International Journal Of Medical & Pharmaceutical Scienceshttps://www.innovatpublisher.com/index.php/iijmps/article/view/191SPATIAL MEMORY ASSESSMENT IN RODENTS2022-06-29T16:35:11+01:00ANIL KUMARthakuranil986@yahoo.comSHIVAM SHARMAaugustyasharma0013@gmail.comVANDANA SHYAMaugustyasharma0013@gmail.comSHWETA AGGARWALaugustyasharma0013@gmail.comPRIYANKA SENaugustyasharma0013@gmail.comPOONAM SHARMAaugustyasharma0013@gmail.com
Stress may be acute, chronic and episodic. Acute and chronic stress may be differentiated on the basis of their onset of action and duration. Different animal models have been used to study and to evaluate the stress disorders including acute stress disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. Peptic ulcer development is influenced by the pH of gastric juice and a decline in mucosal defences. Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) are mucosal resistance to the damage being affected by two main elements. Conventional peptic ulcer therapy, Histamine-2 (H2) receptor antagonists, and proton pump inhibitors (PPIs) have shown negative consequences, relapses, and different medication combinations.
